Level 1 FS Training:  Facilitator "Boot Camp"

• Can be taken via DVD (FS Director Kit) or at one of 3 live training events in fall 2011 (Milton; Langley; Calgary) $35/person. Download a 2011 Boot Camp brochure for more details.  

 

•  8 hours of live teaching from FS author and veteran directors equipping potential facilitators how to effectively lead and "shepherd" a FS small group experience through to graduation.  This is an absolute MUST for new FS team members.

• This seminar is typically offered live in BC, AB and ON in late Aug/early Sept.  (also available on DVD in the FS Director Kit).

• New for 2011, a special DIRECTORS ONLY session will be added on the Friday, where you will be taught by FS author how to effectively teach/present the materials live.   Advanced facilitator training seminars will also be offered for FS Facilitator "Boot Camp" alumni.

Level 2 FS Training:  Prayer Ministry (sometimes called Prayer Counseling)

Spring 2012 seminar dates @ $70/person:  Yellowknife NWT - Jan 20-21; Powell River BC - Feb 3-4; and Milton ON - Feb 24-25

• This 10 hour level 2 intensive training seminar (Friday - Saturday) is a practical synthesis of various prayer ministry/counseling models that will equip faithful Christ followers to lead others to experience spiritual and emotional healing from traumatic memories and events.
• You will be given a theological foundation for prayer ministry and leave with a proven prayer ministry process through which you invite the Holy Spirit to minister to an individual as Counselor and Healer.

• This course is STRONGLY recommended for FS Facilitators, pastors and lay persons involved in pastoral care.  Class size will be limited and will include practicum experience.  As of 2011, this training will be open to mature believers who've not completed FS or Level 1 training.

• $70/person  Friday/Saturday seminars will limited to 70 registrants

• $150/person  Weekend retreat format limited to 60 registrants

Level 3 FS Training:  Basic Deliverance Ministry

2012 dates TBA - 

• This 12 hour ministry intensive begins with the biblical basics of demonology/deliverance and is based on a belief that Jesus expected all spiritually mature believers to exersize authority over evil spitials and be capable of casting them out.

• The goal of this course is to de-mystify the ministry of deliverance, take away the fear of the demonic and equip believers to systematically discern and cast out the majority of demonic spirits without getting in over their heads.

• This course is STRONGLY recommended for pastors, elders, mature believers serving in pastoral care and experienced FS facilitators.   Class size will be limited and all registrants are expected to be currently walking under the spiritual covering of a local church.  It is encouraged (but not required) to take Levels 1&2 training before level 3.

$75/person  Class size will be limited and fills up fast.

Back for 2012:  Our one day, intensive Discipling a Broken Harvest seminar (promo DVD) for pastors, Christian leaders and denominational representatives will be coming to a number of Canadian cities.  This is the seminar ken & bonnie brought to pastors and Christian leaders in 12 cities across Canada in spring of 2010.  In total, we ministered to 73 Lead Pastors, 69 Associate Pastors/Ministry Staff and 147 Key Lay Leaders. Spiritual Formation II - FS for Bible College Credit @ PLBC

Current FSIM Projects

Freedom Session International was founded as a step of faith and obedience to a sense we had that God may want to use us to help develop recovery materials in other languages.  We needed to create a "vehicle" where business men/women or those who've been touched by our ministry in North America could invest funds to bring freedom and healing to other parts of the world.

How can FSIM help my organization?

While Freedom Session International is primarily focussed on helping develop healing and freedom ministries in less fortunate countries, we are also open to helping North American recovery homes, prison ministries and/or inner city church plants with limited resources to develop healing/freedom ministries in their context. If you have believe Freedom Session would be a significant asset in your location, please contact us and share the details of your ministry, your need and how you envision us helping you.  We are here to serve and help the poor among us.

How Can I Help FSIM Accomplish Its Mission?

Freedom Session International is looking for men and women who believe in our message to help us resource churches, recovery homes and Christian leaders with the training and tools they need to effectively minister to the broken among us.   We want to be there to encourage and train those who join us on the front lines of taking back the ground satan has gained in the lives of many.

We are also praying earnestly about a translation project into French so that we could effectively minister to our brothers and sisters in Quebec.  Ken and Bonnie as well as each of the FSIM Directors personally (and often heavily) invest into this ministry.  Now we're asking you to join us.  We see our ministry as helping prepare the church in Canada to receive the end time harvest God has promised in Scripture.

All donations are income tax deductible and will be receipted annually in late January.
