Current FSIM Projects

Freedom Session International was founded as a step of faith and obedience to a sense we had that God may want to use us to help develop recovery materials in other languages.  We needed to create a "vehicle" where business men/women or those who've been touched by our ministry in North America could invest funds to bring freedom and healing to other parts of the world.

As a rule, we do not activelysolicit funds.  At the same time, translation projects do come with a price and part of us knowing God is asking more of us will be His provision through people, perhaps someone like you.  If you have experienced healing and freedom through our ministry and/or God has blessed you financially, we invite you to prayerfully consider a ministry investment into Freedom Session International (click on "donation" button on left side bar).  And if God has blessed you in abundance, we invite you to consider making a large investment.  Freedom Session International is a non-proifit society and registered charity in Canada.  Income tax receipts are issued is January for the previous year.

At present, current projects include:

  1. Most of our efforts from January - June 2010 will be focussed on the Discipling a Broken Harvest  campaign in Canada.
  2. International Feasibility Studies in Rwanda, Africa and Serbia.  If the local churches/ministries in either of these areas find the English version of Freedom Session helpful as they minister to hurting people, we will begin working with them to culturalize and translate the program into their language and culture.  We will also work with them to produce the materials in their country themselves, making them self-sufficient.  Something that has always bothered us in North America is that those with lesser means often can't afford the counseling or help they need, whether it be physical, educational or emotional.  In North America, we have a fairly wide selection of which healing ministry we'd like to take part in.  There are entire nations with no choice because there are no materials.  If/as God provides and leads, we are committed to helping those with lesser means.
  3. If Freedom Session continues to expand into the United States, we envision the need for a Spanish translation.  This will also allow us to help many of the poorer countries in Latin America.  Ken & Bonnie spent some time in El Salvador in summer of 2009 and can see a great need for healing ministries there.
  4. One of our heart "pulls" in Canada is French speaking Quebec.  We see the difficulties the evangelical church in Quebec is having with many who've been hurt or dissilusioned with dead religion.  We believe a French version of Freedom Session may be an excellent ministry approach to Quebec evangelization.
