Our MISSION

Freedom International Ministries exists to...

  •  lead, train, equip and resource Christian leaders around the world to reconcile broken people to Jesus Christ, themselves and others.
  • empower and celebrate those who are called to serve this mission.
  • provide a tangible, spiritual return on our partners' investments of prayer, time and money.

We will fulfill our mission by:

  1. training and equipping churches/organizations in North America to effectively minister to those struggling with addictions (chemical and sexual), abusive or hurtful pasts and broken relationships.  This will be done through regional training seminars and/or via DVD.  Members of the FSIM team may be available to bring these seminars into your ministry culture.
  2. translating and/or distributing Christ-centered healing and recovery materials into other languages/cultures around the world.  This may also include establishing drop in or residential recovery homes/centres in strategic international locations.  Currently, our first translation project is French so that we can effectively minister in Quebec and the Maritimes.
  3. creating and/or distributing Christ-centered healing and recovery materials into prisons, recovery homes, church plants with limited resources and or ministry training schools.  We are committed to help those among us who are poor.

Our CORE Values:

Value # 1:  We will invest and move into ministry ventures for which God gives us consensus as a team.  “Traditional consensus” is defined as having our own individual concerns addressed to a level at which all can support the proposed direction without a violation of conscience or spiritual conviction.  Consensus allows for tension of values as well as personal, philosophical and even theological preference.

Value #2:  We will focus and move into those opportunities and areas of ministry where a FSIM Director has been “touched” or convicted by God and is willing to champion the cause.

Value #3: We will invest, focus and move into areas of ministry where we receive a spirit-led invitation or request for help.

Value #4: We will not allow lack of funds to influence our investments and decisions.  The key question will always be "What is God asking us to do?"  Once we know that we will seek His means of funding the vision.

Value #5: We will not beg for money.  We will not go into debt to cover our operating expenses.
